I Vine Speil or (In the Mirror of Wine) is Mahsa Vahdat's latest album in cooperation with renowned Norwegian choir group Skruk. Conducted by Prots Hidre, composed and arranged by Tord Gustavsen, and produced by Erik Hillestad of Kirkelig Kulturverksted (www.kkv.no), In the Mirror of Wine is the meeting point of Persian traditional singing and Norwegian church music and jazz. The album was recorded in Jakob Church in Oslo and Volda Church in June and July 2010. Poems are by Persian poets Hafez and Rumi. To purchase this album, you can go to the page below:
Mahsa Vahdat was born in (1352/Jalali) in Iran. Started taking piano lessons at the age of fourteen. Continued her education in music with Persian singing. Graduated from the Art University in Tehran with a BA in Music in 1999.
Since 1995 she has taken part in many concerts in Iran and in other countries (Germany, Holland, England, France, India, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Bahrain, USA,Turkey, Poland and Spain) as an independent artist.
She has worked with many composers resulting in the following albums:

Risheh dar khak "Roots in Soil"
Songs from a Persian Garden
I am Eve
Scent of Reunion
Mahsa Vahdat was one of the ambassadors of Freemuse Organization in 2007. Freemuse is an independent international organizations which advocates freedom of expression for musicians and composers worldwide.
