Islamic Revolution revived human values 1/25/2009 4:18:01 PM In a meeting with the officials of Simorgh committee set up for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, President Ahmadinejad said: The Islamic Republic changed the then usual sight and approach to the world and brought humanitarian and religious values to the scene as a system of thought and social conduct. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran was a turning point in the history of mankind. In a meeting with the officials of Simorgh committee set up for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, the President referred to the enemy's conspiracies, pressures and sanctions in the past thirty years and said: The Islamic Republic changed the then usual sight and approach to the world and brought humanitarian and religious values to the scene as a system of thought and social conduct. "This Revolution not only was the factor for an essential change in the life of the Iranian people, but also a prelude for the largest change in the lives of other nations," he added. "Iran's Islamic Revolution is a global phenomenon belonging to mankind, " noted the President. "There is no doubt that the present turmoil worldwide is the result of existing political and social systems which are based on capitalism and existentialism," the President added. President Ahmadinejad stressed that the Islamic Revolution had not only freed Iranians from dictatorship, but it had also had a great influence on the international developments. "Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran revived all human values including religious values and respect for independence and freedom," the President stressed. Remember Us!!!
