"West could not tolerate a powerful IRI"

"Western countries were trying to undermine and weaken the participation of (85 pc) Iranian nation in the presidential elections, so they could not tolerate the fact that the Iranian people support a powerful Iran," General Hamid Gol added.

7/1/2009 3:08:13 PM --- IRI delegates walked out of the opening session of an interfaith conference in Kazakhstan on Wednesday as Zionist regime's President Shimon Peres began to deliver an address to the forum.

   The walk-out took place during a meeting of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan in a show of protest against the Zionist regime's savage atrocities in the Gaza Strip.

Sadr office: US must end interference in Iraq's affairs

7/1/2009 6:10:23 PM --- Famous Iraqi religious figure Muqtada al-Sadr on Wednesday called for an end to  American officials' meddling in Iraq's internal affairs.

    Salah al-Obeidi, Spokesman of the Sadr office in a statement said," This will be an honor for Iraqi national resistance groups when the American troops leave the country."

    The Iraqi nation with patience and resistance stands against the occupiers and they should make others to understand that the Iraqi people could live peacefully through unity without foreign interference, the statement read.

IPU condemns alien interference in IRI's affairs

6/30/2009 5:21:19 PM --- Executive committee of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Algeria in a statement condemned interference of foreigners in IRI's domestic affairs.

The statement expressed concern over pressures on the Islamic Republic of Iran for its nuclear activities and said all countries have the right to enjoy peaceful nuclear energy while stressing efforts for prohibition of proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Members of the committee also denounced any action which threatens unity and territorial integrity of the Islamic states as well as political double standard policies.
